Seven steps, about four minutes to read

What actually happens, step by step

Including the part where we deliberately leave some of your pages alone, which is the bit everyone wants explained.

We show you what’s gone stale

Type in your website’s address. We read the pages you already have and tell you what we found: which haven’t been touched in years, and which are competing with each other for the same searches.

Then we tell you what we can’t see yet: which pages people actually find, and what improving them would be worth. For that, Vera needs to read your Google data, and that’s the only reason to go further.

Your time
About five minutes

You sign up, and Vera gets to know your website

You show us the website is yours, usually one click with your Google account, and connect Google so Vera can see how each page is doing. She can only look, never change anything.

She then reads 16 months of your history, which is all Google keeps, and every page you have: what each one brings in, and when it last changed.

The part everyone asks about
Your time
Five minutes,
one decision

Vera improves some of your pages, and leaves a matching set alone

Your pages are paired up: a guide with a guide of the same age and traffic, a service page with a service page. One of each pair gets improved. The other is left exactly as it is for 90 days.

The pages left alone aren’t harmed. They keep every visitor they already had. All you give up is improving them for three months, and that’s what lets you prove the improving worked at all.

Once you agree, the two groups are fixed for 90 days. Nobody can move a page from one group to the other, including us.

Improvements arrive, and you say yes or no

This is what you’re paying for. Vera goes after the pages that already bring you visitors and have gone out of date, rewrites them, and tells you why.

You see the old text beside the new, in plain sentences. Say yes and it’s yours to use: paste it into your website in a couple of minutes, or your web developer publishes it. Say no and the page stays as it is.

No quota, no charge per article. Vera works through your website in the order that matters.

Vera tells you which way it’s going

Not on the last day. From about halfway, once there’s enough to go on, she tells you whether it’s leaning towards yes, leaning towards no, or still too close to call, with the likely range.

A result nobody saw coming is how people end up feeling cheated. One you watched arrive over six weeks is just news.

Proof you can show anyone

A permanent page showing the difference between the pages Vera improved and the ones she left alone, with its likely range. Both lists in full, and anything else that happened along the way, like a Google update, noted as it happened.

If it didn’t work, the page says so, in the same words and the same size, and your next 90 days are free.

You can leave, and keep every word of it

We improve your website; we never host it. Every change is already in your own pages, so cancelling removes nothing, breaks nothing and costs you no visitors. There’s no script to remove and no plugin to uninstall.

That’s deliberate. A service you can’t leave isn’t measuring anything; it’s holding your website hostage.

Start with the free check. It costs you nothing.
